You want to learn to improvise over a jazz standard, but don't know where to start?
This 4th module focuses on the triadic progression of a jazz standard.
In this no-nonsense approach I give you concrete exercises and guidance on how to get you scatting:
We will practice the triads through:
· Practicing the triads in root position
· Changing direction going up and down
· Adding one crucial note to each triad
· Bringing in chromatic approach notes
· Practicing upper and lower neighbors
· Improvising!
We will practice all of the above with the song "Fly Me To The Moon", a classic jazz standard, if there ever was one!
